An air-combat maneuver in horizontal and vertical planes intended to reduce the angle-off and prevent overshooting the defender’s turn. A yoyo procedure essentially consists of alternately trading high speed for height, and vice versa. The pilot who can trade to greater heights is likely to have an advantage over his or her adversary.
